Senior Outreach Ministry
As St. Christopher's Parish grows older an increasing number of our senior are finding it hard to join us for Sundays. Some feel they are becoming disconnected - staying mostly in their home or apartment - alone.
We have formed a team of trained parish volunteers who wish to help our older members remain connected.
Our volunteers are offering to visit or call once a week.
They are helping to provide an opportunity for our less mobile seniors to catch on parish activities, share and enrich their faith life and perhaps discuss other subjects of interest.
If you are a senior who might be interested in having a parish volunteer call or visit once a week, or, if you are a family member who would like to refer a senior from our parish to this program, please contact Georgina Abrego ext. 2225
