Remembering Fr. Scott R. Young

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Father Scott Young, as of the morning of Thursday October 2nd, 2025. 

Visitation: Tuesday, October 14th, 2025 from 3-7 pm at Catholic Cemeteries - Assumption Visitation Centre, 6933 Tomken Road, Mississauga

Visitation at St. Mary's Church, 65 Amelia Street in Barrie from 9:30-10:45 am Wednesday, October 15th, 2025

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m.  Reception to follow in the parish hall. Burial will take place at Assumption Cemetery
